MyDex provides decentralized Perpetual Futures trading. From the [Market] page, users can browse supported Futures markets and place trades by selecting a trading direction, leverage, and trade amount.
This guide explains how to access Futures markets and place trades on both the app and Web.
MyDex currently supports Isolated Margin only. Perpetual Futures are high-risk leveraged products that can amplify both profits and losses. Please make sure you understand the risks and trade within your own risk tolerance.
1. Before You Trade
Before trading, make sure you have sufficient funds in your Futures account.
If you do not have sufficient assets in your MyDex account, deposit or buy tokens first. For details, see:
Available assets and transfer methods may vary. Please refer to the information displayed on MyDex.
2. App
Step 1: Open the Perptual Future Markets
Log in to the MyDex App, tap [Market] at the bottom of the page, then select [Perps] at the top.
You can view currently supported Futures markets, prices, 24H price changes, trading volume, and maximum leverage.
Step 2: Select a Perpetual Futures Market
Select the Perps market you want to trade, or tap the search icon in the upper-right corner to find another market.
Tap a market to open its details page.
Step 3: Review Market Information
On the Futures details page, you can view:
➤ Current price
➤ 24H price change
➤ 24H trading volume
➤ Candlestick chart and available timeframes
➤ Mark Price
➤ Oracle Price
➤ Open Interest
➤ Asset overview and basic information
After selecting the market you want to trade, tap [Long] or [Short] at the bottom of the page.
➤ Long: You expect the asset price to rise.
➤ Short: You expect the asset price to fall.
Step 4: Set Up Your Order
On the order page:
- Confirm the Futures market and trading direction.
- Select the order type.
- Adjust the leverage.
- Enter the trade amount manually, or use the 10% / 25% / 50% / MAX shortcuts.
- Set Take Profit or Stop Loss if needed.
- Review the available balance and estimated Liquidation Price.
MyDex currently supports Isolated Margin only, meaning the margin for each position is calculated and managed independently.
Step 5: Review and Submit Your Order
Before submitting, review the following information:
➤ Long or Short direction
➤ Trade amount
➤ Leverage
➤ Order type
➤ Estimated Liquidation Price
➤ Take Profit and Stop Loss settings
➤ Fees and other details displayed on the page
Once everything is correct, follow the on-screen instructions to submit your order.
3. Web
Step 1: Open the Perpetual Futures Market
Log in to MyDex Web, click [Markets] in the left navigation bar, then select [Perps] on the Market page.
Step 2: Select a Perps tokens
Select the Futures market you want to trade, or click the search icon in the upper-right corner to find another market.
Click a perps token to open its details page.
Step 3: Select a Trading Direction
Review the asset price, price change, candlestick chart, and other market data, then click [Long] or [Short] to open the order panel.
Step 4: Set Up and Submit Your Order
In the order panel, select the order type and set the leverage, trade amount, Take Profit, and Stop Loss as needed. Review the trading direction, order type, estimated Liquidation Price, fees, and other order details.
Once everything is correct, follow the on-screen instructions to submit your order.
Page layout, available leverage, and trading features may vary. Please refer to the information currently displayed on MyDex.
4. Risk Reminder
Perpetual Futures trading involves significant risk. The higher the leverage, the smaller the adverse price movement a position can typically withstand, which increases the risk of liquidation.
Before trading, make sure you understand Isolated Margin, leverage, Mark Price, liquidation, and Funding Rate. If you are new to Futures trading, consider using lower leverage and smaller trade amounts while becoming familiar with the product. Take Profit and Stop Loss orders can also be used as risk management tools.
